ADULT ZOOM VIDEO CLASS

Sketch Comedy Writing: Level Two

Coach: John D. Babcock
THE WRITER'S ROOM

Our Level Two Sketch Comedy Writing Class provides students with the firsthand experience of writing a sketch comedy show. Students will participate in a "writer's room" situation by being given six (6) weeks to write sketches and news-spoof stories for a sketch comedy show and NewsBrake segments. By the end of Level Two, the class will present 12 to 15 completed sketches that cohesively work for a live show.

Feel the excitement and thrill of "blank page to stage" with Sketchworks Comedy's Level Two Writing Class! Final class will result in a table read of the scripts either virtually or on stage... Depending on where life takes us!

Graduates of this class are then invited to join our mainstage writers group and help develop sketches for future shows and video content.
